v26.03.13.01 13 March 2026

✨ Features

  • Pay Insights page — new Insights tab with a shift value calculator (pre-filled from your profile), income tips, and annual earnings tracking all in one place.
  • My Pay Year — track your total earnings across the NZ financial year (1 Apr – 31 Mar). Shows year-to-date gross, hours worked, shift breakdown by type, and full-year projection once you have 4+ weeks of data. Set an earnings target and track your progress.
  • Shift Value Calculator — reusable calculator component also available on the public landing page. Calculates gross pay for any shift based on MECA rates, day of week, and penal hours.
  • Income Tips — practical strategies for maximising take-home pay covering night shift stacking, weekend clustering, public holiday strategy, overtime thresholds, and annual leave timing.
  • Help page rewrite — now MECA-aware, only shows content relevant to your selected agreement (NZNO-HNZ or PHC). Organised into free and premium sections.
  • Export to Calendar is now a free feature — no longer requires a premium subscription.
  • Redesigned desktop XL layout — fortnights display in a responsive multi-column grid with shared action bar.
  • FortnightProvider — centralised fortnight state management. Smoother navigation and data loading across the app.

🎨 Design

  • Standardised premium upgrade prompts — consistent "visible but blocked" pattern across the app. Feature content is always visible; a clean lock badge replaces the old catalog-style modal.
  • Modernised upgrade modal — compact, feature-specific with trial awareness built in.
  • Template Manager now opens for free users with sample templates visible behind the lock overlay.
  • Normalised font sizes across Help, About, Privacy, Terms, and Feedback pages.
  • My Pay Year desktop layout — 3-column grid (earned so far, hours by type, earnings target) with stat cards in a single row below.

🔨 Fixes

  • Fixed custom shift type creation bug.
  • Fixed shift swap modelling calculation errors.
  • Updated NZ public holiday regions and dates.
  • Removed duplicate upgrade prompt in Settings.
  • Various responsive breakpoint fixes for tablet and desktop layouts.
v26.02.28.01 28 February 2026

✨ Features

  • PHC MECA support (Beta) — Pay calculations for practice nurses, enrolled nurses, medical receptionists, admin staff, HCAs and coordinators under the PHC collective agreement. Includes Saturday split penals, night rates and overtime thresholds.
  • Fortnight Templates — Save your shift pattern as a reusable template and load it into future fortnights. Set it up once, reuse it every roster cycle.
  • Calendar Export — Export your shifts to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar (.ics). Each shift shows up as an event.
  • Fortnight Comparison — See how your current pay compares to last fortnight — gross pay, hours, overtime and penal differences at a glance.
  • Shift Swap Modelling — Model the dollar impact of swapping shifts before you agree. The app calculates your fortnight both ways and shows the exact difference in gross pay, penal hours and overtime.
  • PD Hours Tracker — Track your Professional Development leave entitlement. Log PD activities throughout the year and see how many hours you have left. Works for full-time (40 hrs/year) and part-time (pro-rated).
  • APC Renewal Reminders — Get reminded when your Annual Practising Certificate is coming up for renewal, and reminded to claim reimbursement from your employer. Set your renewal month in settings.
